Biography:

• At 4-years-old Meeping Cha was carefully prepared for competition, going out in Cycle Classique classes.

• At 5-years-old he continued in Cycle Classique classes then had a few outings in D1P ridden by Syndie Rigaut, making a strong impression each time.

• In 2006, at the age of 6-years-old, he went out in D1, D1 Elite, Grand Prix and CSIP and followed the 6-year-old D pony Cycle Classique circuit (6 clears from 6 rounds). His results were: winner of the D1 at the Regional Championships in Picardy and 6th (of 56) in the D1 Elite Grand Prix at the Haras du Bory; 6-year-old D pony Champion; winner of his first Grand Prix at Barbizon (from 44 entrants); 8th in the Grand Prix at Liverdy; 4th in the Grand Prix at Le Touquet; 10th in the Grand Prix at Ozoir la Ferrière; 1st and 4th in the CSIP at Bois-le Roi and 5th in the Grand Prix.

• In 2007, at the age of 7-years-old, he started in Grand Prix Elite, immediately having great success: 3rd in the Grand Prix Elite at Jablines; 2nd in the Grand Prix Elite at Auvers; 1st in the Grand Prix Elite at Arradon; 4th in the Grand Prix Elite at Fontainebleau; 7th in the Grand Prix Elite at La Boissière Ecole; 5th in the French Championships in Grand Prix Elite (and joint 1st in the finals with Jimmerdor), a place that no other 7-year-old has occupied up until today.

• For several weeks he was second on the Grand Prix computer-list, behind Jimmerdor!

• IPO 2007: 167 (0.93), the best pony show jumping index ever obtained by a stallion, all races and eras included. He superseded Dexter (IPO 164 in 2003) who held the record before.

• Had he had a rider of the right age to go out in the internationals, Meeping Cha would undoubtedly have been part of the French team for the European Championships at Freudenberg at the age of 7-years-old!

• After the 2007 French Championships, Meeping Cha spent 5 months ridden by Axel Le Diberder:

- winner of the International CSIP-A Petit Grand Prix at Le Mans;

- 3rd and 2nd in the D1 and D1 Elite at Barbizon;

- 9th in the Grand Prix at Liverdy en Brie;

- 12th in the Grand Prix Elite at Le Mans (4th in the qualifiers);

- 3rd in the Grand Prix at Laval;

- 13th in the D1 Elite at Tourgeville;

- 9th and 13th in the D1 and D1 Elite at Ozoir-la-Ferrière.

• In February 2008 he left for the Bologni’s yard in Italy to be ridden by Filippo:

- 7th in a 1m20 horse class at San Lazzaro in February

- 5th in the CSIP-A class at Cinzano in March

- 1st in a 1m20 horse class at Cervia in April

- 6th in the CSIOP class at Moorsele in May

- 5th in a CSIOP class at Wierden in June

• On his return to France he started his 2009 season ridden by François Denis:

- 10th, 11th and 12th in D Elite Grand Prix classes at Le Touquet

- 2nd in the Grand Prix at Laval

His dam, Nadiacha, PFS born in 1979, was an excellent winner show jumping in pony classes in the eighties, notably winning the French C pony show jumping Championships in 1985 at the age of 6-years-old! Daughter of the remarkable arab Dancing Duke, Nadiacha leaves us a progeny of quality amongst whom one can count two other Grand Prix ponies, Earl du Bruilhois and the approved stallion Lennicha de Florys (Jalienny, Aa), as well as the very good Joga de Prat, IPC 133 in 2003.
