Sire Info

Royal Prince was approved in the fall of 2001 by the Hanoverian Verband and was a finalist in the 2002 Bundeschampionat.  As a 4 yr. old, he was Reserve Champion at his 30-day and 70-day Performance Tests, earning 10’s for his rideability and walk, and 9’s for his trot, canter, and willingness to work.  He was again a finalist at the Bundeschampionat that same year.  Hilltop Farm imported Royal Prince in the fall of 2003 and in the spring, Royal Prince made sweeping wins of all his classes at the 2004 East Coast Selection Trials for the FEI World Championships for Young Horses and earned an unprecedented score of 9.82.  At the Championships in Verden, Germany, Royal Prince made a bit of American history when he earned an overall score of 8.84 and a final standing of 4th place in the world!  No American entry to date has placed so successfully in this international event.  Royal Prince finished the 2004 season by winning the US National Championships for 5 yr. olds with an overall score of 9.14.  Royal Prince has continued to be highly successful in his competition and breeding career.  He is now a 4-star stallion with the Oldenburg N.A. and in 2008 & 2009 was the USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year.  In 2010 he made his debut at Prix St. Georges.

Dam Info

Cor Dia by Cor Noir was a premium Oldenburg mare, with an outstanding production record.  Hilltop Farm has stated that she is “…unquestionably one of the most influential foundation mares in the Hilltop Farm breeding program…”.  She has twice been the Champion of the Produce of Dam class at Dressage at Devon.  She twice produced the highest scoring foal of the year for Oldenburg N.A. (ConDia 9.0 & Contina 9.3).  She is the dam of the 2001 Dressage at Devon Young Horse Champion and the 2004 DAD Reserve Young Horse Champion.  Her daughter, ConDia received the highest score ever given to a mare entering the Oldenburg N.A. Premium mare book: 115 points.  Sadly, Royal Cordelia is her last daughter as she tragically died from a severe colic episode 6 weeks after foaling Cordelia.  Cordelia’s dam’s sire is the Grand Prix stallion, Cor Noir.
