Fox Creek’s Masterpiece is a stunning stallion with outstanding conformation. A gorgeous topline with a well set neck and uphill build, he tops it all off with a beautiful head and expression. The entire effect is a pony that exemplifies the German Riding Pony “type”. Masterpiece has excellent hindquarter technique showing a great deal of articulation and action in the hock enabling him to really “sit” and have great natural ability for the passage and piaffe. He has great freedom in his shoulder enabling him to have a lot of range in the trot with many “gears” for the rider to work with. His canter is uphill and powerful and his walk is excellent. He has a willing work ethic that is responsive to the riders’ aids without being reactive. In this way he is forward but not hot. This is a riding pony that is just simply described as: “the entire package”.
